Clyde Cooper’s BBQ Window Graphics

After over 75 years in it's Davie St. location, Clyde Cooper's Barbecue was forced to relocate to a new spot in downtown Raleigh in early 2014.  For the new storefront, owner Debbie Holt wanted to evoke a older style look to the window lettering, based on a photo from the early restaurant. After going over several ideas, a script font was chosen, which was then produced using two layers of gold and cardinal red premium cut vinyl. The current Clyde Cooper's logo was kept on the door and printed on 3M vinyl. The result was a storefront immediately recognizable to Raleigh residents as the new Clyde Cooper's, while still evoking some of the look and memories of the old location.
