While we've been the sign supplier for the Raleigh IcePlex for many years, we have to admit the opportunity to wrap a Zamboni was not on our radar for possible projects they would request. That being said, we were thrilled for the chance and took the project on with high expectations. The goal was to create an image that was unique and attractive, while also incorporating not only their logo but artwork that was accessible to all ages and demographics. This design is the second version of the shattered ice we moved through and a far larger version of the bear than was originally proofed. Our customer came to us with a stack of ideas culled from internet searches that helped guide our design process. This is very helpful when on a tight time frame. This project was conceived and completed in less than 3 weeks. The final hurdle we faced was installing these 3M graphics in temperatures in the high 40's to low 50's in the garage room directly off of the ice.
